Explore Our New Resources: The Greater Manchester VCFSE Accord
A new microsite and explainer video have been launched following our celebration event earlier this month to mark the renewed Greater Manchester Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Accord for 2026 - 2035.
The Greater Manchester VCFSE Accord is a collaboration agreement between the public sector, including health and care partners, and the VCFSE sector. It provides a shared framework for working together to improve outcomes for residents, communities, places and the environment.
New online resources have been produced to help partners, stakeholders and communities better understand what the Accord is all about, how it is helping strengthen collaboration across Greater Manchester and how it can be used by VCFSE organisations of all sizes.
Explore the New Accord Microsite
The newly launched Accord microsite brings together everything you need to understand and use the Accord. Visitors can:
- Learn about the purpose and principles of the Accord.
- Explore the shared values that underpin the collaboration agreement, including honesty, ambition, accountability and trust.
- Understand what the Accord’s signatories have committed to
- Access a growing library of resources, reports, guidance, delivery updates and practical tools. The microsite also features a selection of resources to support everyone to apply the Accord’s commitments in practice. You can explore these resources here. We will continue to expand these so make sure to check back!
- Find examples of the impact the Accord has had across Greater Manchester.

Watch the New Explainer Video
A new 2-minute animated explainer video has been produced to provide a clear and accessible introduction to the Accord. The short film outlines why the Accord matters, what it aims to achieve and how organisations across sectors can use it to guide collaborative working and support better outcomes for communities.
The video is designed for anyone interested in understanding the Accord, including VCFSE organisations, public sector partners, community leaders and residents.

Supporting Better Partnership Working
These new resources have been developed to increase awareness, understanding and practical use of the GM VCFSE Accord in Greater Manchester. Whether you are new to the Accord or not, the microsite and video are useful tools to help bring the Accord's commitments to life and support stronger partnership working across sectors.
Partners are encouraged to explore the new resources, share them with colleagues and organisations of all sizes, and use them to support conversations about how we can continue working together to improve outcomes for Greater Manchester's communities.
