GM VCFSE Accord Impact Report 2024-25 now available
We are happy to share a new impact report for the Greater Manchester (GM) voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) Accord, covering April 2024 – March 2025, is now available.
The Greater Manchester (GM) voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) Accord is an agreement between the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and TfGM, NHS GM and the GMVCFSE Sector, represented by the GMVCFSE Leadership Group, based in mutual trust, working together and sharing responsibility. Its purpose is to further develop how we work together to improve outcomes for Greater Manchester’s communities and citizens.
The GM VCFSE Accord is an enabler of work; it supports the development of effective and meaningful partnership working in and between the VCFSE and public sectors in Greater Manchester.
Highlights for 2024 - 2025 include embedding VCFSE strategic advisor roles within the GMCA, a VCFSE campaign asking for support from GM commissioners that resulted in the development of NHS GM’s Commissioning Principles to enable more consistent and equitable commissioning practices, development of a quality and locally provided translation and interpretation service, the development of an Inclusion and Wellbeing partnership fund as part of GM Live Well, and the production of a set of principles for including the voice of lived experience in policy making.
This impact report builds on the Accord Interim report, published December 2024, which shares highlights from the fist 18 months of the current delivery plan, showcasing achievements since the Accord's signing in 2021.
Accord partners are conducting a consultation to define a future Accord agreement and delivery plan. Visit here to find out how you can have your say.
