

Greater Manchester Joint Health Scrutiny Committee seeking VCFSE Representative
The GM VCFSE Leadership Group are supporting the appointment of a representative from the Greater Manchester voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector to join the GM Joint Health Scrutiny Committee.
About the Committee
The Greater Manchester Joint Health Scrutiny Committee consists of representative members from the 10 Greater Manchester Local Authorities. They scrutinises:
- The strategies, policies, actions and consultations of the work of the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.
- Services provided to patients living and working across Greater Manchester.
- Specific health issues that cut across geographical boundaries.
Person Specification
The VCSFE Representative provides a sector voice to the Joint Health Scrutiny Committee, ensuring that the perspectives, experiences, and priorities of the sector are reflected in health scrutiny at a Greater Manchester level. The role supports effective scrutiny by contributing insight from communities, supporting agenda-setting, and constructively challenging where appropriate. Please note:
- aapplicants are requested to hold Tuesday 16th June at 10am - 12pm for the first meeting, including induction at GMCA offices in Manchester. View the full Draft Programme of meetings here, for reference.
- Once appointed, GM VCFSE Representatives are asked to sign the Protocol for Representation.
