Greater Manchester Research Engagement Network (REN) Forum: Launch Event

The Greater Manchester Research Engagement Network (REN) Forum is a new, GM‑wide space for connection, learning and collaboration between communities, Voluntary Charity, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector (VCFSE), researchers and research organisations to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.

The REN Forum is an ongoing community of purpose, not a one‑off event. It brings people together to share good practice, explore challenges in research engagement, support co‑production, and exchange knowledge and experience across Greater Manchester.

The forum is grounded in the principles of the Greater Manchester Respectful Research Charter and prioritises participation, real examples from practice, and collective learning.

This launch session will:

• introduce the purpose and principles of the REN Forum
• explore shared approaches to respectful research
• begin shaping how the forum works going forward

Open to anyone involved or interested in research engagement across GM.
