Greater Manchester’s Unpaid Carers: Celebrating Impact, Shaping the Future
This is a Greater Manchester Adult Social Care Reform Fund (GM ARF) Programme - Celebration & System Reset Event hosted by the Greater Manchester Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (GM ADASS).
Join for a special celebration event hosted by GM ADASS, recognising the impact of the GM ARF Programme and its commitment to improving support for the vast and vital community of unpaid carers across Greater Manchester. We will be sharing and celebrating the great work funded by GM ARF, but equally importantly, this event will look to ongoing work for the future as we reset our commitment to unpaid carers. This will inform an update and relaunch to the GM Strategy for Unpaid Carers and the exemplar model.
This event brings together system and strategic leaders, programme partners, and—most importantly—carers themselves. You’ll hear powerful lived-experience stories from carers who have benefitted from the programme and who have helped shape what good support looks like, what’s working, and what still needs to change.
