Live Well Community Fund - Inclusion and Wellbeing Partnership Fund: Year 2 Co-Design Day
Year 1 of the Inclusion and Wellbeing Partnership Fund funded 30 community-led projects across Greater Manchester and generated clear evidence about what works, what needs to change, and what Year 2 should do differently. This half-day co-design session is where we put that learning to work - together.
About this event
Year 1 of the Live Well Community Fund: Inclusion and Wellbeing Partnership Fund was a pilot - and it proved the model works. 30 community-led organisations across Greater Manchester were funded to deliver work that statutory funders consistently miss: projects shaped by communities defined by language, faith, shared migration experience, and intersecting identities rather than postcode. The evidence is in. Year 2 is confirmed. Now we need to design it well.
This co-design day is the first formal opportunity to shape Year 2 together - with the organisations, communities, and partners who know what worked, what was frustrating, and what needs to change.
What we will do together on the day
The session runs 12:30pm-4pm and is structured around three central questions:
- What should Year 2 keep from Year 1 - and why does it matter that we protect it?
- What should Year 2 change - and how should those changes be designed?
- Who is still not in the room - and what would it take to reach them?
This is a working session, not a presentation. We want your knowledge, your experience of the fund and funding in general, and your honest view of what inclusive grant-making in Greater Manchester needs to look like. The afternoon will be facilitated, with space for both table discussion and plenary sharing. Food and drink will be provided.
Remuneration and access
Participation in this session is recognised as a contribution to the design of a funded programme. Attendees from community organisations will receive a £75 honorarium in recognition of this. Travel and access expenses are covered as standard. If you have access requirements - including BSL interpretation, language support, or childcare - please note these when you register and we will arrange them in advance.
