What does community-led systems change look like?

Voluntary Sector North West (VSNW), in partnership with and funded by Local Trust, is leading a new North West learning programme exploring the legacy and learning from more than 15 years of Big Local.

The programme will bring together funders, commissioners, VCFSE organisations, infrastructure bodies and communities to explore what can be learned from one of the most significant investments in resident-led neighbourhood change in England

This opening session will explore what community-led systems change looks like in practice.

Drawing on learning from Big Local, participants will explore what happens when residents are placed at the centre of decision-making and delivery, and how long term investment, trust and cross-sector partnerships can support neighbourhood transformation.

The session is co-hosted by VSNW and the VS6 Partnership and will feature speakers from Local Trust, Groundwork CLM and Windmill Hill Big Local.
