Jenny is the Chief Executive at a local Mind association, Tameside, Oldham and Glossop (TOG) Mind. They provide mental health and wellbeing services to over 10,000 people per year. This is for anyone over the age of eight and can receive support, as individuals in groups or family units. They are considered an anchor organisation in their local area and work in over 100 partnerships with both local trusts, council, schools and grassroots community groups. While they predominantly serve Tameside and Oldham they also work in partnership with a range of organisations providing support across Greater Manchester. The organisation has been running over 40 years.

Jenny, following personal experience of mental health and subsequently qualifying as a counsellor joined the organisation as a volunteer over 20 years ago. Her first paid role started in 2004, when at the time there were six paid member of staff and 30 volunteers. She has had many roles and been fortunate to develop alongside developing the organisation that now employs over 130 paid staff and supports over 100 volunteers. TOG Mind is a values-based organisation and believe people are the experts of themselves and by working together in a shared care approach we can help people tap into their own inner resource and bring richness to our communities.
