GMCA and VCFSE sector Fair Funding Protocol
Put in place under the GM VCFSE Accord, the Fair Funding Protocol guides how the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) plans its grant funding, commissions, and manages contracts with VCFSE organisations.
In October 2023, the GMCA agreed a Fair Funding Protocol to be implemented in new grants and contracts for activities and services that the VCFSE sector carries out across Greater Manchester which are funded directly from the GMCA’s budget.
It has been put in place because the GMCA understands that the VCFSE sector is a key delivery partner of services and activities for communities. The Protocol intends reduce financial barriers in our shared goals to build a thriving Greater Manchester.
