About the GM VCFSE Sector

We are proud to support the work of our amazing sector here in Greater Manchester.
VCFSE is a collective term used to describe a sector containing voluntary organisations, community groups, faith-led organisations and social enterprises (businesses who reinvest their profits into their social mission).
These organisations represent numerous diverse communities and engage in activities, for example:
- 50% support community development & tackle inequality
- 29% support physical activity, sport & leisure
- 21% support economic wellbeing, debt advice, employment support & poverty relief
- 28% support wellbeing, health and social care needs

Our sector have the ability to engage, inform, consult, support and mobilise residents and communities. We have knowledge of the barriers to attaining equality, and expertise in social and economic innovation. We are keen to work together with other sectors to support places and communities. Local infrastructure
