Rachel Bottomley

Rachel has been involved in a range of equalities initiatives over the past 20 years in Greater Manchester, in both paid and voluntary capacities. Rachel has worked at LGBT Foundation for the past 15 years, supporting a range of sstrategic equaslities priorities adn focussing on business development and mobilisation of new provision to meet growing LGBTQ+ need.  

She champions an intersectional lense to equalities, and has been heavily involved in delivering and steering activity which supports those who are multiply marginalised, and challenging mainstream approaches which don't meet the needs of people with complex or misunderstood needs across external policy and provision, but with specialist interest around commissioning and wider income generation.
